Year 4 Gilwell Park Residential Trip - Thu 05 May 2016

Wednesday 4th May 2016
The children have all settled in well!  We started the day with a tour of the site while the luggage was being delivered to the lodge.  When we got back we had lunch and then the children got shown their rooms- which everyone were really pleased with! They have had lots of fun already with the activities- with some overcoming their fears! Dinner was a success with fish, chips and pasta on the menu!

We spent the evening playing games outside- colour hunt and screaming race! And some of the children had a competition with Mr Palmer rolling down a hill!

We ended the evening with a cup of hot chocolate and sharing our favourite part of the day.  All the children were ready to get a good nights sleep!

Year 4 have had a busy but very fun day! They started the day with a big breakfast then got ready for a full day of activities. Some have been crate staking, go karting and all have participated in kayaking!

In the evening, after dinner, we had a camp fire -where we sang songs, played charades and cooked marshmallows on the fire.  We ended the evening with a mug of hot chocolate. All the children are having a great time!

Tomorrow morning we will be packing up and then heading off to our final two activities.
